A peek at my "Daily Account Management" plan
So Jennifer, what does your typical day look like?
I get this question from family, friends, and clients. They are curious about the "behind the scenes" of my business.
My answer is the same as most people...
There's no such thing as a TYPICAL day.
That being said, their is SOME routine to my days.
One part of my routine that I like to share with my clients is my "Daily Account Management." This is something I do for myself and for a few of my clients.
My "Daily Account Management" consists of briefly reviewing all of my social media profiles to be sure I am responding to any comments, mentions, and direct messages.
People tell me all the time that they don't have time to be on social media everyday. I agree. At times you will fall down a rabbit hole and be "doom scrolling" out of control. That's why I stick to my task and just review the accounts. I have a link that opens up all of my accounts and has them ready in my browser. Then I click on each tab, check for messages, comments, and mentions. I spend time responding, then I move on to the next account.
I get into a rhythm and can get through my accounts quickly.
I spend a bit more time on client accounts checking on a variety of other things, but it is possible to check my accounts in a matter of minutes.
Maybe you don't do it EVERY DAY, but a few times a week can allow you to respond to people in a timely manner.
